Paladin Registry review: now a WiserAdvisor site

WiserAdvisor bought Paladin's lead generation service in 2019, and paladinregistry.com is now one of its consumer sites. Its advisor sign-up leads to WiserAdvisor Growth, so for an advisor, joining Paladin Registry means joining WiserAdvisor, on WiserAdvisor's prices.

Paladin Registry is no longer a separate company for advisors to join. Paladin sold its lead generation service, which ran at PaladinRegistry.com, to WiserAdvisor in a sale completed in February 2019 and announced on September 4, 2019. Today paladinregistry.com is one of WiserAdvisor’s consumer sites: its “Are You a Financial Advisor?” link goes to WiserAdvisor Growth, and its member login goes to wiseradvisor.com. Joining means paying WiserAdvisor’s prices, which its sales page puts at $125 a month and up, plus $40 to $400 a lead. There’s no Paladin-specific product or price to review, so this page explains the relationship. The product itself is covered in our WiserAdvisor review.

What Paladin was

Paladin Registry began matching investors with vetted advisors in 2004. When it sold the lead service, WealthManagement.com reported the registry had roughly 360 vetted advisors. The terms weren’t disclosed. The original Paladin company kept a separate digital marketing business for advisors, and both firms said they’d keep using the Paladin name.

What it is now

Three public records show how fully Paladin Registry sits inside WiserAdvisor:

  • The SEC registration. WiserAdvisor’s parent, Respond.com, Inc., is registered with the SEC under the name WiserAdvisor Paladin (CRD 321249). Its June 8, 2026 brochure lists paladinregistry.com among its referral sites, next to wiseradvisor.com and indyfin.com. The older Paladin Research & Registry registration (CRD 143203) shows as inactive.
  • The advisor sign-up. On paladinregistry.com, the advisor link goes to WiserAdvisor Growth, and the member login to wiseradvisor.com.
  • The product. WiserAdvisor Growth sells one set of leads drawn from all its sites, matching each prospect “to 1-3 advisors”, with listings on six of its sites included.

The consumer site still looks like Paladin. It offers investors a free matching service and a search, says it validates and documents “advisor credentials, ethics, and business practices”, and says all advisors it profiles are fiduciaries. WiserAdvisor’s brochure describes the vetting behind it: experience, assets under management, disciplinary and bankruptcy history, registration, and whether the adviser is fee-only or fee-based. Fiduciary there doesn’t mean fee-only.

What it costs

There’s no separate Paladin price. WiserAdvisor publishes three ranges in three places, and they don’t agree:

  • Advisor disclosure page: $40 to $300 per qualified lead, plus an annual membership whose price isn’t stated.
  • WiserAdvisor Growth page: from $125 a month plus $40 to $400 a lead.
  • SEC brochure, June 2026: a membership of $45 to $5,600 a month, $20 to $350 a lead, $400 per appointment set, or a share of fees from referred clients.

Leads are billed at the end of each month, whether or not they become clients. The full breakdown, with one adviser’s per-lead schedule, is in the WiserAdvisor review.

Where Paladin Registry is the better choice

  • You want WiserAdvisor’s leads. A Paladin-branded site is one of the places they come from, and the fiduciary framing may draw prospects who care about it.
  • You’re fee-based. WiserAdvisor accepts fee-based fiduciaries. Wellspent doesn’t.

Where Wellspent is the better choice

  • A fixed price. $89 a month, cancel any time, with no per-lead fee.
  • Fee-only, checked. Wellspent accepts fee-only advisors only, verified against SEC data, so you aren’t shown beside fee-based firms under the same label.
  • No shared prospects. A prospect who writes from your record chose you, and no one else got their name.
  • Built for where people ask now. Your verified record is read by AI assistants and search, a monthly report shows who they recommend for your ideal clients, and quarterly press placement with media partners is included.

Bottom line

Paladin Registry is a WiserAdvisor brand. Judge it as WiserAdvisor: a mid-priced, non-exclusive lead service with a membership and a fee for every lead. If that’s what you want, read the WiserAdvisor review and compare it in financial advisor lead generation companies compared. If you’d rather keep one flat cost and every prospect to yourself, start with your record.

How much does Paladin Registry cost advisors?

Paladin Registry doesn't publish a separate price. Its advisor link goes to WiserAdvisor Growth, which says pricing starts at $125 a month plus $40 to $400 a lead. WiserAdvisor's June 2026 SEC brochure gives a membership of $45 to $5,600 a month and $20 to $350 a lead.
