These terms govern your use of wellspent.co, find.wellspent.co, quiz.wellspent.co, api.wellspent.co, and our MCP server and agent endpoint (together, “Wellspent”), operated by Future Bets, Inc. (“we”, “us”). By using Wellspent you agree to them.
1. What Wellspent is, and isn’t
Wellspent is a public graph and discovery service for fee-only financial advisors. We are not a financial advisor, broker, or investment adviser, and nothing on Wellspent is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. A listing is not an endorsement or recommendation, and we don’t guarantee any advisor’s qualifications, registration, or services. Before you hire anyone, verify their registration (for example on the SEC’s Investment Adviser Public Disclosure site) and do your own due diligence. Any engagement you enter is between you and the advisor.
2. Listing information
Listings are built from public sources, from firms’ own websites, and from advisors themselves, and may be incomplete or out of date. We note where information comes from and when it was last checked. To correct or remove a listing, email [email protected].
3. Introductions
When you send an introduction request, we pass your message and contact details to that advisor. We don’t charge consumers, and we aren’t paid per introduction.
4. Membership (for advisors)
- Eligibility. Members must be fee-only financial advisors: compensated only by their clients. You agree to tell us promptly if that changes. We check registration against public regulatory records and may suspend a profile that doesn’t meet this standard.
- Price and billing. Membership is $89 per month or $890 per year, billed in advance through Stripe. Members who join in our founding cohort (our first 250 members) keep the founding price for as long as their membership continues without a lapse. We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice of any other price change, effective from your next renewal.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account. You keep member features until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
- No refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods and for profiles suspended under the eligibility terms above, except where the law requires otherwise.
- After cancellation. Your record remains in the public graph as a basic listing, but member features (your maintained profile, introductions, and visibility reports) stop. You can rejoin at any time.
- Your content. You’re responsible for the accuracy of what you publish, including fees, credentials, and registration details, and for complying with the advertising and marketing rules that apply to you (for example the SEC Marketing Rule and state rules). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, format, and distribute your profile content on Wellspent and through the channels that make it discoverable, including search engines, AI assistants, our API, our MCP server and agent endpoint, and Markdown versions of your page, for as long as your profile is published.
- No guaranteed results. We work to make your profile clear and discoverable, but we can’t control or guarantee how search engines or AI assistants rank, cite, or recommend anyone. Visibility reports show what an AI model said at a point in time; they are not a promise of future results.
5. API, MCP server, and agent endpoint
You may use our public API, MCP server, and agent endpoint subject to rate limits and any key terms we issue. Don’t use them to scrape the public graph in bulk, to build a competing directory, or to contact advisors for unsolicited marketing. When you show results, attribute them to Wellspent (“Source: Wellspent, find.wellspent.co”). We may change, limit, or revoke access at any time.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t:
- misuse Wellspent, or interfere with or overload it;
- submit false information or impersonate anyone;
- harvest personal information;
- send spam through the introduction forms;
- use Wellspent in violation of any law.
7. Our content
The Wellspent name, design, software, and the compilation of the public graph belong to us. Except for your own content, you may not copy or redistribute substantial parts of Wellspent without permission.
8. Disclaimers
Wellspent is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your dealings with an advisor. Our total liability for any claim relating to Wellspent is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.
10. Indemnity
Members agree to indemnify us against claims arising from their profile content or their advisory services.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; if a change is material, we’ll notify members by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
